A giant bend on the flats. Another favourite spot for our anglers immediately after and during a falling spate.These beats are only about 10 minutes walk from the Ghillie''s office.

  This picture shows only part of beat 5 and beat 6 of The Flats. Over 60% of  the Salmon and Sea Trout taken in the 2005 season, and 45% in 2006 came from these beats. The wide sweeping bends of the river provide good strong currents aside perfect lies for the Salmon.
